Back in January I wrote a post about my annual word and why I choose one. I chose kindness -
But over the last month I've been thinking a lot about death and dying. I'm not afraid - I am simply so happy in the life I've been blessed with, I don't want to leave it or forget it. And that brought me to really pondering what happens when we die. An existential crisis of sorts.
Whoops!! I missed the first! Things just seem to have gotten really busy around here! I'm so ready for spring. How about you? What are your spring weather plans? And are you ready for Valentine's day?

On these long winter days we've been having, it's nice to have a little something in the house to remind you that Spring is coming.
I love the fragrance of paperwhite narcissus, so I started a few bulbs. They are beautifully flowering by my kitchen sink!
For the last ten years I've chosen a word to focus on each year. At the end of the year, I reflect on what has happened in my life and how the word played into the year.
First let me apologize for not visiting the posts!! I'm having some serious computer issues - one has a dead keyboard and now won't even recognize the wireless keyboard - and the one I'm using has some corrupt files so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't! Looking at new ones now. Until that new one gets here, please bear with me!
And now - onto the the party! The holidays are over and the new year has begun. We've had some wild weather, so I have been working indoors - cleaning and planning my spring garden!
