Halloween is in the Air

 I love fall. And I love decorating this time of year. Halloween goes up all during the month of October (I started in September). November first is Thanksgiving, then the day after is Christmas. And so begins the fun!

I like to use lights. Orange electric or fall themed battery operated - they all add a little spooky festiveness. 

It's Almost Halloween!!

Aging is interesting. As I'm adjusting to the changes in my body, I can't help notice that my thoughts and aspirations are also changing. 

When I was in my twenties I thought about the future. I wanted to have children. I wanted a house in the country. And I had plenty of time to reach my dreams.

Planning and Planting for a Fall Harvest

 I am loving my garden. This summer I grew chard, tomatoes, squash, peas, and more. As it starts to wind down I've enjoyed creating dishes from the last of the summer garden, like this garden fresh omelet!

 And now I'm planning for a fall harvest. Yes, you can plant now for harvesting late fall.
