On this tenth day of Yuletide, tribute is paid to the sun goddess, Sunna. She becomes stronger and stronger with each day and shines longer and longer until the the summer solstice.
Sunna is the sign that the sun and warmth is returning. It is the dawn of a new year. Sunna is the sun personified.
This is the night to remember the ancestors and reflect on self-reliance. So light the Yule log, cook up some salmon, and enjoy a little sunshine with those you love.
